V2500 engine stand overview
The V2500-type engine stand has a steel welded frame used to transport, install, and remove V2500 engines. With bootstrap points on the engine stand cradle, it has a counterweight to balance out during the bootstrapping operation. Without a lifting system, the engine stand has caster swiveling-type wheels, including double wheels with two-wheel pins. The stand’s caster wheels have four positions: engine position, middle cause to change lift bar orientation, and empty stand caster position – forklift accessibility from either side. Isolation-wise, there are eight shock-absorbing mounts between its cradle and trolley.
V2500 engine stand functionality
The V2500 engine stand is designed to streamline the logistics of engines in aviation maintenance and overhaul facilities. It also provides a stable base for storing the engine when not in use, preventing unnecessary wear or damage.
V2500 engine stand design
V2500 engine stands are made from sturdy materials like aluminum or steel to support the weight of the V2500 engine. They are designed to fit its dimensions, ensuring a proper fit. Heavy-duty wheels and brakes provide easy mobility and stability during transit, while safety latches and tie-down points help prevent accidental movement of the engine.
