PW4000-94 engine stand overview
OEM-approved PW4000-94 engine stands support handling the PW4000 family engines. Whether for land, air transportation, or engine storage in QEC configuration, these stands have optional bootstrap adapters that simplify and support the engine once installed in the shipping cradle or during its removal or installation from an aircraft. Its tie-down rings on the transportation base ensure stable upkeep for the engine and stand, and shock-reducing mounts absorb potential vibrations during transfers. The forklift is accessible from either side, and the steering bar provides improved maneuvering.
PW4000-94 engine stand functionality
The PW4000-94 engine stand acts as crucial support for the Pratt & Whitney PW4000-94 engine since it provides secure transportation via air, road, or sea. In addition, its robust construction and reliable braking systems ensure proper security.
PW4000-94 engine stand design
The PW4000-94 engine stand is a specialized and robust piece of ground support equipment explicitly designed for the Pratt & Whitney PW4000-94 engine, which powers various wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 747, 767, and Airbus A300. The stand is constructed from high-strength steel or aluminum to support the substantial weight and withstand the rigors of handling such a large engine.
